JR静岡駅のほど近く、北口を出て徒歩で5分ほどの場所にある「山葵のへそ」。ここはわさび漬の老舗である「田丸屋本店」が手がける和食店で、新鮮な魚と山葵を使った独創的な料理が楽しめるお店です。３階建ての一軒家作りのお店は各階ごとにコンセプトが異なるのが特徴で、その中の1階部分、“金の茶室”をイメージした半個室に、歴清社の洋金（真鍮）箔紙が使われています。３面の壁に加え、天井にも洋金箔をあしらった空間はカジュアルでいながら独特は気品も漂う仕上がり。料理も内装も、一見の価値ありです。

Near JR Shizuoka Station, Sushi restaurant called “Wasabi No Heso” is located about a 5-minute walk from the north exit. This Japanese restaurant was started by a long-established wasabi pickles store, “Tamaruya main store.” It is a restaurant where you can enjoy their creative cuisine with fresh fish and wasabi. This restaurant is in the 3-floor house with different concepts on each floor. The first floor is a semi-private room which made in the image of a “tea house of gold.” The brass leaf paper of Rekiseisha is used in this room. In addition to three sides of the wall, the ceiling is also decorated with their brass leaf. The space is very casual, but at the same time, unique and elegant. Their interiors and also cuisine are worth to visit.
