家電に銀箔を貼る。そんな前代未聞の企画を提案してくれたのは三菱電機でした。東京・銀座の新たなランドマーク「東急プラザ銀座」内に誕生した三菱電機イベントスクエア「METoA Ginza」。そこに展示するためのスペシャルプロダクトです。 コンセプトは“家電と暮らす”。耐久性消耗品という家電の既存の価値観を飛び越えてもっと愛着が持てるものを、というのが発想の原点です。変色しやすい銀箔を、熱を持つ家電に貼るということは本来ありえないこと。しかし歴清社が独自で開発した変色しにくい接着剤で貼った銀箔であれば劣化を極力抑えることができ、それでいながら少しずつ変色するエイジングを楽しむことができる。まさにかつてない家電です。 革新的な素材と革新的な発想。まだ世の中にない新しい取り組みに歴清社は今後も挑戦し続けていきます。

Mitsubishi Electric has proposed to put silver leaf on consumer electronics. This has never been heard anywhere before in the industry. In “Tokyu Plaza Ginza” which is a new landmark of Ginza, Mitsubishi Electric started an event square called “METoA Ginza”. It was a special product made for the exhibition there. The concept was “living with consumer electronics.” The basic idea of this event is to lead people to feel attached with a consumer electronic beyond the existing values tas a consumable. Silver leaf is easy to discolor, therefore, it is basically impossible to put them on any consumer electronics because of the heat. However, Rekiseisha has invented a new glue which is difficult to discolor and makes it possible to minimize the degradation. Also it is possible for us to enjoy the aging discoloration little by little. It is exactly an unprecedented consumer electronic. It is made of innovative materials and ideas. Rekiseisha will continue to challenge themselves to approach new ideas which are not out anywhere in the world.
